Freelance Social Media Graphics Designer/Canva Expert Needed! (with Consistent Work)

We are looking for a freelancer (with part-time hours) with the goal of hiring full-time & becoming our business partner.

You will be creating captivating social media feed posts (IG, LinkedIn/FB). We will provide the content and a brand board.

There are growth opportunities above and beyond this if you work well with us.

A solid understanding of what increases CTR on designs, what content catches consumers’ attention, and converts viewers to browse our IG carousels are preferred but NOT necessary, will train the right candidate as long as the will to learn is strong and you are coachable.

Work Flexibility – You can work anytime you want, as long as items are finished by the due date.

But more than just a social media graphics designer, we are looking for a PARTNER. I need someone trustworthy, competent, and reliable. We are leaning on you for advice on the best methods and practices to make our social media platforms beautiful.         

We are looking for someone to grow with our team and as we become more successful, you too will get higher pay and eventually be our full-time designer.

Your Top Tasks (all must be eye-catching and visually pleasing):

- Create Weekly Instagram Carousel Posts with copy from the Marketing Team
- Create Quote Cards to be posted on social media
- Create media assets for LiveInnerCity [Downloadables, etc.]
- Creating templates for a consistent look
- You may also create graphics to be part of YouTube Videos
- Stay on top of current trends in Social Media Design
- Work closely with our marketing manager

We currently have someone to do our graphics on our IG and YT but we want to make it look more professional.

Proficiency in Canva is a MUST. Other software such as Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator etc are not necessary but a PLUS.

Pay: Please submit your expected pay in CANADIAN DOLLARS.

Schedule: You must be available to answer emails/messages from 6 pm to 8 am Calgary, Alberta, Canada time (MDT – Mountain time)
