Full Time Podcast Editor Needed

We are a growing podcast startup looking to add to our upbeat team of audio editing specialists. Our team is international but mostly based out of the Philippines. We are looking for long-term dedicated applicants only.

Our culture revolves around accountability and self-responsibility so no need to worry about managers breathing down your neck about projects. We have more than enough work to go around so as long as you are able to meet deadlines and maintain good communication we'll have more than enough to keep you busy.

The daily role of the position is to take raw audio & video files, assemble them in order adding in any additional music or segments, checking the audio files for any long pauses or technical issues, applying various effects to increase the overall audio quality (background noise reduction, de-essing, EQ, normalization, etc.), adding in provided animations to the video file, use a provided Adobe After Effects template to create a short snippet from the podcast.

Only about 1/4 of the podcasts you work on will have a video component so having a mastery of audio editing is a must.

Additionally, you will be working as a part of a team and will be communicating with others. This is not an isolating position :)

Skills Required:
Adobe Audition (or similar software)
Waves Plugins are a BIG plus
Adobe Premiere Pro
Adobe After-Effects (only basic skills required)
Knowledge in audio host scheduling such as Libsyn, Anchor.fm et. al. is a plus
Ability to meet deadlines (and exceed client expectations)
Ability to communicate openly (and responsive to messages)
Ability to work as a part of a team

In terms of compensation, we are a project-based team; the more episodes you complete, the more you will get paid during a certain pay period. The first few weeks will start as a part-time position but can very quickly turn into full-time once you have proved yourself with your work.
