Technical Writer for a telecommunications software project

Our innovative and enthusiastic company is looking for a technical writer to integrate with our team and help in the important role of putting our doing into words. You will work and report directly to our R&D management. During work, you will be require to interact with R&D for extracting logic and technical information of our product and getting familiar with it in order to perform your day to day duty tasks.
Among the tasks you will be require to:
• Develop and maintain documents: Implementation documents, support documents, Online help pages, user guide documents, product internal processes and logic documents and patent documents.
• Complete writing assignments according to set of standards regarding order, clarity, consistence, style and terminology.
• Review published material and recommend revisions or changes in scope, format and content
• Create diagrams, sketches, drawing and charts to illustrate materials
• Interview production and R&D engineering personal and existing document in order to became familiar with the product technologies and production methods
• Assist in laying out material for publication
In order to perform the above tasks, we expect a candidate to have and be:
• Excellent research skills
• Excellent English – both reading and writing
• Excellent verbal communication skills (in English)
• Advance knowledge and experience in computer skills like: MS Word, Google docs, Visio and HTML (also required)
• Must be able to organize ideas
• Ability to translate technical terms into text which any reader can understand
• Knowledge and hands-on experience in software programming
• At least 1 years experience in working at the same role with IT Company documenting software product which includes web tier, application tier and Databases.
• Fast typing
• Highly motivated individual who is able to grasp complex software and learn quickly
• Availability and ability to work during Europe business hour while having the flexibility to occasionally work with different regions like Australia and US
