Senior Frontend Developer (WordPress)

We're a digital agency based in Australia and we're looking looking for a talented senior frontend developer with strong WordPress experience to strengthen our team and build on our technical foundation.

We have a variety of projects on the go, which includes new and existing projects, and you will be involved in the full development life-cycle: from the idea to the launch of the product.

You'll be working alongside our Designer and Backend Developer, and we’re looking for someone who knows WordPress and Frontend tech like the back of their hand, and will bring in more experience that can help us deliver more, better quality products and with even fewer issues than what we’re capable of now.


Required Skills & Experience
* Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar position,
* Excellent knowledge of WordPress and the ability to build custom themes,
* Experiencing developing custom page types, taxonomy language, menu systems, and other WordPress CMS data structures based on wireframes and project requirements
* Good knowledge of JavaScript (AJAX) in the field of content manipulation,
* The ability to turn Figma designs into pixel perfect, mobile friendly designs using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
* Good experience with CSS Flexbox as we don't use Bootstrap in our projects
* Experience with Elementor & Elementor Pro as our clients like us to use it with some pages
* Proficiency with the WordPress Coding Standards, approaches and common APIs.
* Good experience with using Advanced Custom Fields Pro Plugin in your code, and custom post types.
* Knowledge of the current UX trends,
* Accuracy and attention to details,
* Good written and spoken English.
* A can-do attitude

Bonus Skills
* Experience working with remote teams is a big plus.
* Experience building on WooCommerce, LearnDash or Memberium
