Inventory Management & Logistics Coordinator

We are a rapidly growing eCommerce business specializing in shower heads, generating over $2million in annual revenue in 2020. We have been in business since 2014 and sell on ---------- and Shopify using Amazon FBA fulfillment. We are looking to hire someone for the long term, so a positive and ambitious attitude is a must. - Has good organizational skills and can organize follow ups using one of our Trello boards
- Communicates clearly and openly. Experience with Slack is preferable.
- Cares about growing our ---------- iefing on the work expectations:

- We import products from China to be sold on ---------- and our own website. Your role would be to help coordinate production plans, shipments and other logistical tasks.
- Experience with inventory forecasting and planning
- Communicates with Chinese manufacturers to schedule production
- Communicates with freight forwarders to arrange shipments from China to the USA
- Creates shipping plans in Amazon Seller Central
- Creates work orders for shipments going to 3PL warehouses
- Tracks all steps in the production/shipping process in applicable spreadsheets and software
- Creates inbound shipments as needed from 3PL warehouse to FBA
- Understands the supply chain process
- Thinks critically and can make strategic decisions on when to ship via Air versus Ocean freight

Schedule

Work schedule is flexible, although we are based in the USA on the East Coast, so 9-5 EST is when we will be available. Overtime is available on a case-by-case basis, voluntary to the employee but must be approved by the employer.

We require that you work for us 100% of the time in your schedule. Working multiple jobs is an immediate fireable offense. We have a ZERO tolerance policy for straddling multiple jobs during your assigned work hours.

On-Boarding

You will be working with me, Justin. I will help you hit the ground running over the first ---------- om there, I believe in autonomy , although I'm absolutely there for you throughout the course of your work. I will work with you on some projects, but certain tasks will be autonomous. I understand that experience may vary. But what is absolutely a must for me is working with someone who is excited to work and respects the schedule.
