Blog Content Managers Roles and Responsibilities

We are looking for someone to manage our blog content. The successful candidate must have experience publishing content on WordPress.

If you are familiar with ‘page builder’ that would be a bonus but is not required as we will provide training.


Core responsibilities:
• Edit article:
o Style guidelines – formatting, structure, font, voice, etc
o Grammar
o Spelling
• Upload and draft in WP
• Add backlinks to other external sites.
• Add internal links (using the WP Link Whisper plugin)

Besides strong time management skills, you should have basic knowledge of SEO best practices.
You will also be required to report completed tasks on our shared worksheet.

This is a part time (freelance) position. You can arrange your own working hours as long as tasks are completed within an agreed time period.

We are planning on publishing about 1 article per day, which can be scheduled in advance. You would aim to work on more than one article per day / at a time.

The pay is $7 per blog post.

Payments are made in arrears after work is completed (usually no more than 1 week) and we pay PayPal fees.
