Windows System Administrator / System Analyst

- Develops detailed and high level implementation plan for Windows based application – patch upgrades/ full package. POS servers.
- Creates/Modifies UNIX shell scripts and Windows batch scripts for large scale deployments.
- Administer pilot testing and mass roll out implementation
- Builds and maintain UNIX and Windows QA environment. Administer UAT before QA approval and release.
- Creates Business release notes following the client’s standards, based on the technical release notes given by the developer / vendor.
- Conducts implementation plan / release notes walkthrough with Loblaw’s Canada based clients.
- Extensive use of Microsoft Lync as a mean of communication with clients.

Application Analyst
- Provides application support to client facing UNIX and Windows based POS systems
- Guarantee proper handling and in depth analysis on various store related incidents
- Handles escalations raised by the client
- Ensures Windows and UNIX servers of the clients are operational
- Specializes in SwedaMart based POS systems

Active Directory - responsible in Active Directory account management, control and develop Active Directory list and database. Create new users account, add policy to new accounts. Knowledgeable in Central File repository, particularly in list distribution of members to appropriate groups and Organizational Units. Knowledgeable in creating folders and folder security in the server R2 for CFR. able to implement CFR policy to AD accounts.

Software - Windows XP, Vista, and Windows 7 installation, setup, and activation. Installation and configuration of software applications such as : Lotus Notes 6.5, 7.0, 8.5, Lotus123 Smartsuite, Microsoft Office 2003,2007,2010. Adobe Photoshop, Autocad, Prime System, Quantum eTreasury, Oracle Prod, ARC Business Intelligence, Java applications, IExplorer 6,7,8, MMS, Open Office 3.3,
Hardware - Installation and troubleshooting of the following: Memory and processors, power supply, video cards, sound cards, external and internal DVD/CD ROM, Motherboard, Floppy Disk, Monitors, keyboards, mouse and other peripherals.

Network - IP configurations, proxy settings and configuration, Bandwith testing, uploads and download speed testing, LAN setup, Wifi configuration, wifi setup and security. LAN port setup and testing, Internet configuration, intranet configuration, network access setup.
