Marketing Assistant

I am seeking a team member to assist with ongoing marketing activities for my online store, yarn haus. This is an ongoing full-time position, and I will be giving preference to candidates who are wanting a long term job.

I am seeking a candidate:
1. who is able to demonstrate knowledge of and experience in email marketing, management of social media channels and a general knowledge of SEO
2. who demonstrates attention to detail and is passionate about the production of quality work
3. who can operate with a systems/process mindset and will follow the operating procedures of yarn haus and assist with improving these over the course of their work
4. who is organised in their work and manages their time effectively

98% of our customer base is female, and the ideal candidate will have an understanding or interest in hand-crafts such as knitting or crochet.

Tasks include:
1. General marketing duties/project management
2. Email marketing formatting
3. Social media updates and monitoring
4. Assistance with production of podcast episodes, including drafting of show notes and transcription
5. Conduct keyword research and maintain database
6. Implement SEO procedures as per policy document
7. Formatting blog posts, including developing infographics
8. Basic website maintenance, such as image rotation
