Mission
The Outreach Specialist really enjoys heads down work and working in spreadsheets, and working with data.
Reports to: Director of Operations
Goals
Can independently manage 100-150 links/month
Meet aggressive monthly milestones based on current workload
Maintain other goals as needed
Qualifications
BA or BS with an emphasis in digital media/marketing/SEM/SEO/Social Media/blogging preferred
2+ years of professional experience
Ideally, has some SEO experience
Competencies
Comfortable negotiating costs with paid media partners, when not natural outreach campaigns
Excellent grammar, writing, and communication skills
Strong listening skills, willingness to learn, ability to collaborate
Meticulous attention to detail and commitment to deadlines
Ability to focus on projects and stay focused on hundred of small tasks over long periods of time
Strong technical skills in digital tools, but can adapt to new technologies quickly
Responsibilities
Accurately track and report on all project elements including, but not limited to, status updates, contact information, budget estimates, budget reconciliation, site metrics and reporting requests
Can evaluate site quality based on manual review of content, based on internal quality and strategic guidelines
Can identify sites based on content topics and focus area
Track
Communicate with content team to identify content deadlines
Identify and review key metrics of sites to identify priority site lists
Stay current on (SEO) digital marketing best practices and techniques for offsite link building tactics and strategies
