Web Developer/SEO Expert (Home Based - Night Shift - USA Company)

We are a Chicago-based marketing agency looking for an outstanding individual to be responsible for the coding, innovative design and Search Engine Optimization processes of websites servicing different industries.

We are looking for a collaborator, a self-starter who can also work well with a team. Ideally someone who is updated with the emerging technologies/industry trends and applies them into operations and activities.

If hired, you will help design, build and enhance websites and apply SEO strategies using the latest and greatest front end technologies.

Responsibilities

Write well designed, testable, efficient code by using best software development practices

Create website layout/user interface by using standard HTML/CSS practices

Integrate data from various back-end services and databases

Identify, troubleshoot, fix, and optimize websites for SEO

Research targeted keywords to guide digital strategies

Analyze reports to identify trends, issues, areas for opportunity and create actionable plans to improve KPI’s

Articulately explain technical details of website changes to project managers, and clients

Requirements

BS in computer science or a related field

At least five years working experience in web programming

2+ years relevant SEO and marketing experience, ideally in an agency

Good understanding of search performance marketing, conversion, and online customer acquisition

In-depth knowledge of Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, and Google Search Console

Top-notch programming skills and in-depth knowledge of modern HTML/CSS

Familiarity with at least one of the following programming languages: PHP, ASP.NET, Javascript or Ruby on Rails

A solid understanding of how web applications work including security, session management, and best development practices

Adequate knowledge of relational database systems, Object Oriented Programming and web application development

Hands-on experience with network diagnostics, network analytics tools

Aggressive problem diagnosis and creative problem solving skills

Strong organizational skills to juggle multiple tasks within the constraints of timelines and budgets with business acumen

Ability to work and thrive in a remote environment, full time in night shift, Philippine time zone.
