BUILDING DESIGNER / ARCHITECTUAL DRAFTSPERSON

As a result of growth within our business, an exciting opportunity exists for a highly motivated, efficient and capable BUILDING DESIGNER / ARCHITECHTUAL DRAFTSPERSON to join our team. SA Design Drafting is a small, family run architectural drafting business located in Australia.
Our business focuses on serving our clients with comprehensive, high quality drawings that are delivered in tight timeframes. We work with a number of Residential Builders and with private clientele building their dream homes.
We are looking for an applicant that has excellent computer skills who thrives working independently and enjoys being part of a small, personal team.
The successful applicant will:
- Have highly proficient skills at using AUTOCAD (3D software knowledge is a bonus) – minimum 2 years’ experience.
- Be a clear communicator through email and Zoom. Excellent English skills are essential.
- Be able to follow instructions and be trustworthy
- Some building design / architectural expertise and experience
- Read, interpret and extract information from the Australian Building Standards
- Put together preliminary and working drawings on AUTOCAD
- Is able to demonstrate the ability to work efficiently within tight timeframes
- High standards in delivery and attention to detail/accuracy level
- Be willing to expand/grow the role (to potential full time capacity).
