Your Role
As a virtual assistant at Evocative Motif/ Junior Interior Designer, you are passionate about your craft and combine creativity and technical knowledge with business skills and understanding to produce functionally beautiful residential and commercial spaces as well as internal needs. You have exceptional design, and communication skills, a background in architecture or design preferred. Open to learning and developing new skills while growing with the company. You are an integral member of the design team who relishes contributing a point of view and craves participation in conceptual thought-processes and design exploration

What You Will Do

·Market Research
. Lead generation and outreach
. Creates initial concept packages with a strong design story, to guide the design process through project completion
· Conducts programming efforts through space planning studies to arrive at a final approved plan that meets the goals of clients
· Sculpts interior spaces while considering Architecture, Interior Design, and Landscape as a holistic experience including specification of furniture, lighting, artwork, and finishes/materials
· Leads day-to-day project coordination efforts with the ability to prioritize deadlines, manage communication and coordination with clients and consultants
· Communicates conceptual design ideas through 2D and 3D presentation/design drawings.
· Work with consultants, contractors, fabricators, specification writers, and regulatory agencies to meet overall project objectives
· Participates in the construction administration of projects - including review of submittals and finish samples as well as value engineering efforts to maintain design intent.
.This is an all-hands-on-deck position, the assistant role may change with limited notice.
. Video and Photo Editing on premiere pro
*Collecting emails off websites
*Data entry (change the stuff on our website that is very easy)
*Posting blog posts to our Web blog (I'll show you how to do this, also very easy)
*Easy Social Media Tasks
*Sending and responding to emails, cold calls



Your Qualifications

· Proficient in SketchUp, Revit, 3D, and other modeling software programs preferred
· Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite applications (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign)
· Knowledge of furniture, finishes, materials, color selections, and specifications
· Rendering and visual communication skills are highly valued
· Passionate, self-starting, intelligent, dedicated, efficient
