Product content writer / copywriter for Amazon Product Listings

We are a small US-based e-commerce business looking for a part-time VA to help with writing concise, informative, and captivating product descriptions for products that we sell on the Amazon and Etsy marketplace. The candidate is expected to have great commanding skills of written English, as well as knowledge of SEO tags and general page layout skills. We are looking for someone who can commit to working 10 to 20 hours per week initially.

Required skills / experiences:

-Excellent verbal and written English, including usage of proper grammar and diverse vocabulary.
-Previous content writing or copywriting experience, in particular, with product descriptions.
-Ability to take "common" products and write up interesting and captivating descriptions to convince customers to buy the products.
-Ability to analyze and evaluate competitor product descriptions to incorporate ideas for our own product descriptions.

Nice-to-have:

-Knowledge or experience with e-commerce platforms such as Amazon and Etsy.
-Text and graphics page layout skills.
