Full Time Position for Local SEO Expert with GMB Experience

Who we are: We are Local Lead Scout and we help local service businesses connect with customers who are looking for their services online. We work with painters, tree services, flooring contractors, roof repairman, and more specifically in Louisiana and are looking to expand into other industries and other markets.

Who are you: You should have experience in ranking local, small businesses on Google My Business.You should also have a working knowledge of Google My Business and experience in with scheduling and writing posts with photos, targeting neighborhoods to increase rank, keyword research, updating information throughout the GMB page to increase ranking, and be able to talk about your successes in helping other local businesses increase their rankings on Google Maps and the Google Map pack. You should have experience in citation building using tools like Whitespark or Brightlocal. I am looking for someone who has used Local Viking to make edits, schedule posts, track ranking performance, and keeps up to date with how Google My Business is changing and what works today vs what doesn't work anymore that maybe worked in the past.

You should be able to take a GMB page and tell us what needs to be done to improve the ranking and performance instead of us having to tell you.

You should also be very organized, can keep meticulous notes on your processes, be willing to train others on the processes we build over time, and communicate well with us when problems arise or if something is outside of your skillset. You should also be able to research to help us identify new markets, new industries, etc that we can break into next as we build more sites and more GMB pages. You should be able to create reports for customers on how they are performing month over month. You should be ale to tell us changes that we should implement in our existing sites and GMB pages that we can do to help increase our traffic organically. We want someone who can find ways to make improvements and come to us with creative solutions to help our rankings.

You should also be looking for steady work and will not disappear without warning. We are looking for someone, ideally, who will only focus on this job and does not have more jobs outside of this one. We are a little flexible here but if you do have other work you need to accomplish, we ask that you tell us about it during the hiring process. We want someone who wants to be with us for at least a year. Ideally, longer.

What we offer: We are going to start with a trial period of two months, paying weekly $100. After the trial period, we will be offering a contract with $450 a month salary to start. As we grow and as your experience and skillsets grow, we will increase compensation. We do a performance review every 6 months after the trial period has ended. You can work the hours you like as long as the work is getting done each week. We offer paid time off and local holidays off and, of course, offer the 13th month bonus at the end of the year. Payment through EasyPay is preferred.
