JOB OVERVIEW

In this program coordinator position, you will work closely with the administrative and instructor team to manage company-wide projects in Asana, ensuring that team project responsibilities are understood and deadlines are met. You will know the status of all projects and required next steps at all times and be able to report on project statuses from Asana on a daily basis. You will be responsible for managing admin/project meetings, agendas, minutes and deadlines from within Asana, utilizing Asana timeline (Gannt) scheduling, Kanban boards, managing milestones, approvals, dependencies, and tags. You should have a strong interest and skill set in project management, workflow, and be ready and able to improve company workflows, processes, and standard operating procedures.Since many of our projects require website development and communication with web developers, it is preferred that you have some experience with working in Wordpress. This is a part time position for around 20 hours a week and could ---------- is important that you are available to work and troubleshoot issues during Eastern Standard Time working hours (8am-6pm EST). You will need to be available to work some hours between 8am-6pm EST but most of your work can be done in the hours that you choose.

Tasks:
Manage projects, to-do’s, priorities and deadlines in Asana
Manage admin meetings, agendas and keep team members on target for meeting project deadlines in Asana
Manage specific projects within MakerState and with partners.
Manage the web development of MakerState’s three websites:

Manage the social media content creator.
Updating and creating standard operating procedures as the company grows.

Skills:

Experience in working in a fast-paced start-up environment
Flexible and able to teach yourself quickly
Excellent time management
Strong analytical skills
Fluency in English (written and verbal)
Communication skills to include, but not limited to, creative writing, internal and external communications, etc.
Expertise in Google Suite (Gmail, Drive, Docs, Sheets, etc.)
Knowledge of Wordpress
Experience in Asana is preferred but not required
