Freelance YouTube Video Editor Needed (with Consistent Work)!

We are looking for a freelancer (with part-time hours) with the goal of hiring full-time & becoming our business partner.

This is our vision.

First 2 months - You will be editing with our weekly real estate videos for YouTube and other social media. We will provide you the videos and script

After 2 months – You will get more responsibilities to repurpose our existing videos. This could turn into a full-time position

After 4 months – If things go well, we will hire you full-time onto our team and you will be our lead video editor.

The vision is once you reach a certain point, we will have you edit videos for our growing team and or for other realtors and charge them so we can both profit from their business.

If all goes well, we can become business partners. We will find the clients and the business and you can manage the team of video editors and projects so this will be a long-term partnership.


Excellent English without grammar or spelling mistakes in video pop-ups is required. You can use a spell checker if you need (most of the time you should be able to copy and paste our instructions)

If you are new to video editing – No problem! We are reasonably patient and we just need you to be able to edit close to the standards as the links below. Go check them out!

The reason why we are looking to replace our current editor is because he isn’t listening or learning from our previous edits and we have to give him instructions time and time again for the same thing. We need someone who will learn what we are looking for and take initiative so we can minimize our time with video editing and grow our business.


Your Top Tasks

o Editing Real Estate Vlogs
o Repurposing Content: Taking long-form video (5+ minutes) and making them into short-form videos for IG, FB & LinkedIn
o Manipulate and edit video content in a way to keep audience attention
o Review raw footage and create a plan to turn it into a professional clip
o Trim footage segments and put together the sequence of the video
o Input music, dialogues, graphics, b-roll, and effects as needed
o Create rough and final cuts
o Ensure logical sequencing and smooth running
o Consult with us and our marketing manager from production to post-production process
o Continuously discover and implement new editing technologies and industry’s best practices to maximize efficiency.

Pay: Flat rate per month (for now) $100 USD for 4 videos between 5 – 15 minutes long. We have a script so editing is usually pretty easy. As we grow and generate more revenue, you too will be compensated more

Schedule: You can work anytime you want as long as you can turn over a video within 2 days (including weekends if need be).
