WordPress Blog Optimization Specialist

Attention WordPress experts. We're looking for a highly motivated individual to join our growing team! The ideal candidate is the ultimate task manager and can get things done quickly and on-time without errors.

We're looking for someone who has an extensive background working with WordPress, specifically optimizing and posting blogs and pages. We use the Avada and Elementor WordPress themes so experience with both is extremely valuable. 60% or more of your time will be focused on blog optimization and posting, with content we supply (no writing/editing required).

A strong understanding of basic on-page SEO is very important.

An understanding of Google Search Console is essential as we will want to run audits and document any concerns for our team to fix. 10-15% or more of your time will be spent on Google Search Console. An understanding of Google My Business/Tag Manager/Analytics is a plus, but not required.

Must be fluent in written and spoken English.

Job duties:
daily: optimize and post blog articles on WordPress (content supplied, so NO copywriting/editing needed)
weekly: using WordPress plugin to publish blogs to Google My Business
weekly: meetings to review progress
monthly: run technical audits on all websites with Google Search Console and report and dev errors to webmaster
monthly: help with on-boarding audits as needed
quarterly: update schema markup on sites as needed
quarterly: disavow toxic backlinks

Skills:
2+ years experience with WordPress and posting blogs/pages required
Basic understanding of SEO required: content, on-site, off-site, technical
Strong understanding of Google Search Console required
Fluent in English
Excellent communication skills
Reliability/dependability is critical for this role as all tasks are time-sensitive

**Must be able to have at least 3 working hours per day overlap with U.S. working hours 8am-6pm EDT where you are expected to be available by chat (using Slack) or Zoom calls, as needed.
