Location: 100% remote, anywhere in the Philippines or in the same timezone
Compensation range: $30k USD - $45k USD /year

The company that is hiring for this position is looking for senior Ruby on Rails engineers with experience building different applications.

Responsibilities you’ll have:
- Design and develop technical solutions to support Hometime’s business operations.
- Work closely with Project Managers, Product Managers, and business stakeholders throughout the entire organization in - - ---- gathering requirements, specifications, and use cases for designated projects.
- Lead projects and initiatives with different and competing timelines and requirements.
- Work with limited direction in a fluid environment while exceeding delivery expectations and service level.
- Ongoing maintenance of the existing and future platform.
- Perform peer code review, and contribute in constantly improving the development process.
- Foster a transparent and collaborative environment within the development team and throughout the entire organization.

Requirements:
- 3+ years experience working with Ruby on Rails
- experience building applications and working with APIs

Bonus:
- Experience with using React with Rails is a plus.
- Good Javascript skills is a plus.
- Node experience is a plus.
