Revenue Analyst Job Description and Profile
This role will be responsible for setup and management of Airbnb system in
sync with wheelhouse technology.
The Revenue Analyst also supports the Revenue Manager in daily revenue
management and distribution duties as well as supporting the Revenue
Manager and Chief Commercial Officer by completing daily, weekly, and
monthly reporting functions.
The Revenue Analyst fills for the Revenue Manager in their absence.
Main Duties and Responsibilities OPERATIONS:
1. Key Focus on Managing Airbnb listings including pricing, listing management and communication process coordination
2. Assist the Revenue Manager in retail price management and distribution
3. Analyze daily movement on the daily occupancy report and IVI tool
4. Circulate the Daily Statistics Report when required
5. Assist in updating and the maintenance of Online Distribution Channel content
6. Run displacement analysis and event date analysis reports as required
7. Conduct Rate Party Audits- weekly
8. Ongoing business analysis as required by the Revenue Manager
9. Work closely with the Revenue Manager to develop revenue knowledge and skills 10.Participate in meetings and online meetings as required by the Revenue Manager 11.Run STR reports and analyze business/market segment YoY performance, communicating positions to stakeholders
12.Track sales promotions and advertising as required & advised
13.Ensure all marketing information (source, region, market and origin fields) is entered correctly to ensure the effective tracking and reporting of the information is required
14.Send daily / weekly reports to your manager of all statistical information as required in the policies and procedures
15.Assist in monthly reporting on hotel performance and other monthly reporting
16. Analyse and communicate shortfalls in corporate, wholesale and OTAs.
17.Analyse successful promotions for prior year/month and upcoming months
18.Monitor personal inbox for policy/process updates, action items, promotions & internal communication
19.When creating any reservation in RMS, ensuring all Guest Information & Data Fields are accurate
20.Carry out any additional duties as required by the Revenue Manager, COO or Leadership Team
COMMUNICATION:
1. Ensure that communication with customers, employees and others is honest, open and professional
2. Communication with Hotel Managers and Hotel Office departments on a regular basis as appropriate
3. Foster a harmonious relationship between properties, the Central Reservation Office and Head Office
4. Notify the Revenue Manager, Chief Commercial Officer of any issued immediately as they arise and provide appropriate solutions
SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:
1. Min 2 years experience in Hotel Reservation, Revenue or Operations
2. Diploma or Bachelor Degree in Tourism Management, Hospitality management and similar
3. Superior attention to details and time management skills
4. Strong reporting, analytics and problem-solving skills
5. Experience in handling Online distribution channel's backend desired
6. Strong knowledge of computer applications
7. Flexibility with working schedules and working hours
8. Ability to multi-task
