Fun open-source software project seeks nerdy writer to help manage our blog and social media!

I am seeking a partner to help me grow my audience of people who love data, data processing, and data visualization.

I wrote a very powerful tool for processing data that makes it easy for users to generate insights from their data extremely quickly. We're adding new features all the time, and I need some help managing our blog, our social media, and our web site, as well as some customer interaction. This is a great opportunity for someone who is interested in learning about data exploration and analysis, turning large data sets into actionable and meaningful information, and producing useful visualizations. This is a dream job for someone who loves math and data and enjoys writing about it.

This is a half-time position (20 hours/week) with flexible hours.

Responsibilities:
- Write blog posts documenting new features
- Create screenshots showing interesting workflows
- Manage Twitter account and tweet fresh content daily
- Comment on posts on technical forums (Reddit, StackOverflow)

Desired Skills:
- Interest in learning data exploration and techniques
- Clear, precise, succinct writing in English
- Able to use Terminal/ssh on a computer (Mac/Linux preferred)
