Video Editor and Artist

Braven is a new and expanding business looking to hire creative talent that can take our raw videos and edit them into exciting content for social platforms such as YouTube, Instagram, and Facebook.

As a full time Video Editor, you will be responsible for assembling recorded film and video footage, applying artistic editing techniques and creating finished projects that accurately reflect the vision of and personal branding of our CEO.

To ensure success as a Video Editor on our team, you should have expert knowledge of modern video editing techniques and access to modern video editing software such as Adobe Premier, Davincci, or FinalCut. We are looking for someone that can pace and peak talking head videos and tutorial style videos to keep the attention of the viewer from start to finish.

Video Editor and Artist Responsibilities Include:
Following specifications and completing editing tasks of the project in our project management software
Reviewing raw material to determine the shot list.
Manipulating film and video footage using modern editing techniques.
Maintaining continuity while moving shots according to scene value.
Trimming footage and putting together the rough ---------- serting dialog, sound effects, music, graphics, and special effects (a subscription to epidemic sound will be included)
Ensuring the project follows a logical sequence.
Creating video thumbnails for YouTube to correspond with the video
Creating the final cut and uploading to Google Drive for the correct video and proportion specifications for YouTube, Facebook, Instagram

Requirements:
Previous work experience as a Video Editor.
Hands-on experience with editing software as mentioned above.
Creative and artistic skills.
Portfolio of completed projects.
Reliable upload and download speeds
Ability to Zoom or Skype as needed for projects
