Wordpress Web Developer - Part Time Position (20 Hours/Week) to Full Time eventually

We are seeking a part-time, permanent Wordpress Web Developer to join our team! The position will eventually become a full-time position within a few months.

The ideal candidate will be available to work at least 2 hours that will overlap with our time zone (Pacific Daylight Time). For example, the shift could begin at 6:00 am (PHT) which is 2:00 pm (PST/PDT) for us, we can discuss this as long as 2 hours overlap with ours every day. The workdays would be Monday-Friday PST/PDT time and 4 hours a day, so 20 hours a week. The position will eventually become full-time 40 hours a week. This is a permanent position and we would love you to grow with the company, there will be no shortage of work or projects.

Responsibilities include:
Able to work on WordPress websites at various stages of development.
Optimize websites for search engines.
Update WordPress ---------- plete WordPress plugin and theme updates on existing websites.
Customize websites if and when necessary, (mostly stylizing through theme options or CSS).
Optimize copy and landing pages for Search Engine Marketing.
Implement search engine optimization recommendations.

Skills Required:
Knowledgeable in Photoshop or other image editing software.
Proficient in the WordPress CMS
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Have attention to detail and understand marketing concepts.
