Audio Editor

A great job awaits within our podcast agency for a serious person, who is looking for part-time with full-time potential.

The ideal candidate is responsible of:

- Editing/cleaning raw recordings i.e removing umms, ahhs, unnecessary long pauses, repetitions, heavy breaths (case by case basis because some podcasters want a more natural feel), removing background noise and audio leveling. Raw files could be a single track or multi tracks in mp3, wav, m4a, mov, mp4 or any other formats.

- Adding intro, outro, and advertisements into the interview file (when ads are required).

- ID3 tagging (ID3 meta tags for SEO purposes)

- Joining intro/outro music and voice overs

- Producing final edited mp3 files and upload to required file server.

Qualifications:

* Expertise in audio editing software is required, preferably Adobe Audition or Audacity.

* Should be fluent in the English language.

* Should have good knowledge on how to edit audio recordings to produce the best quality audio by applying filters, transitions, and adjusting levels of multiple audio tracks.

* Can work with team.

* Should have good work ethic and excellent time management

*Trainable - I am willing to train the right candidate
* Familiarity with Dropbox, Lastpass,

SALARY:

This is a long-term position for the right candidate. Salary and hours worked are negotiable, based on experience and skills
– Starting at $2-3.5 USD/hour (with potential for raises as you prove yourself) + bonus based on performance.
