JOB OVERVIEW

$400/mo Admin Pro: Shopify, SMM, email marketing experience

Hello from New York City. Please read below and talk to you soon!

BUSINESS (MODEL)
I run language exchange events online via Zoom (breakout rooms), with the matchmaking model. I am using Facebook, ---------- and Duolingo events for lead generation. I would like to try Instagram too but haven’t yet since I have no Instagram experience. I am using Shopify to manage event registrations (both free “waitlist” tickets and non-free “guaranteed spot” tickets) and Mailerlite, integrated with Shopify, to manage email marketing and communications.

Key: The waitlisted tickets are functional to the matchmaking model because each room (during each round/interaction) includes just two people at the time. Hint: the non-free spots are offered in batches in order to keep both sides equalized. Think speed dating for languages. I’d like to hear your comments or questions specifically about this point in your reply.

REQUIREMENTS
I am seeking help from an experienced admin/consultant to manage (and design/improve/strategize) the processes I now run via Shopify, Facebook and ---------- (think Shopify tagging and discount codes, Mailerlite automation/integration, Facebook guides, games and leaderboards to create engagement). Please add your own language(s) as the very first word in your reply so I know that you took the time to read this thanks. Plenty of video content is generated during the live zoom meetings hence, a plus would be that you have some video editing and marketing experience as well, as this would be potentially prime content to create both engagement within the groups as well as virality/word of mouth outside the groups, if the members d ---------- to share these video clips on their profiles.

THE COMMUNITY
At this time I have about 1, ---------- members on Facebook groups; 2,000 on Meetup groups; 4,000+ members on Duolingo NYC group. Given the minimal - close to zero - marketing effort I have put into this “networking+learning” hobby, I am convinced its potential is much bigger if it transforms into a real business. Would you help me with that? I alone can’t do it since I don’t have the time, due to my regular full time job, nor the special expertise needed.

SALARY
My budget is $400 per month at the moment and I am interested primarily in your planning and management skills (meaning: some of the time-consuming implementation tasks could be delegated either to my personal va or to myself, depending on your time availability). This means that the working hours can be part time and more or less flexible. Let's talk!

So... What exactly will you bring to the table, in light of the above description and present budget? What else is - in your opinion - missing from the above requirements section, in light of the Business model?

Feel free to ask questions and ideally to request a zoom call to set an interview (and truly interview each other.)

Looking forward to hearing from you!
Gaetano
