YouTube Manager and Content Writer

Egan Media Group is seeking an ambitious YouTube manager to help manage and operate our series of ASMR YouTube channels with nearly 200k subscribers and 2.5 million monthly views.

The successful candidate will be responsible for optimizing each video’s title, description and thumbnail, posting the video and sharing on our other social media accounts.

We are seeking someone with experience creating content or managing an active YouTube channel. We need someone capable of creating eye-catching titles, search friendly descriptions and someone who really understands the YouTube algorithm. Ideally, the candidate can analyze YT analytics and create reports on channel growth, understands YouTube SEO, keyword research, etc.

The successful candidate will also be asked to write blog posts for our ASMR & sleep blog. Some of these articles will centre around the videos we produce.

If you have experience of any of the following please state in your application/cover letter:
- At least 1 year of experience operating/managing a medium sized YouTube channel
- Excellent written language skills
- Prior experience with SEO in any format a strong asset
- Prior knowledge/experience of ASMR a strong asset.
- Familiarity with Tube-Buddy or similar software is an advantage.
- Some graphic experience with Canva or Spark an asset

Duties:
- Posting one video per day on one of our channels
- YouTube SEO - optimizing our videos’ titles and descriptions for search
- Writing detailed descriptions of our videos including what ASMR triggers are present in each
- Some light keyword research
- Sharing videos on our other social media channels and engaging with our audience on each platform including YouTube.
- Some blog posting writing as required
- Must be available to post between the hours of 4pm and 5pm PST. Other hours entirely flexible

The Position:
- $6 - $8 per hour depending on experience with regular bonuses and raises for objectives met.
- 10 - 20 hours per week to start with the possibility for full time in future
- Flexible schedule
