The supervisor is directly responsible and makes report to the Chief Nurse. She is responsible and accountable for the delivery of quality patient care within all nursing units through provision of adequate and well-functioning hospital equipment; provides an atmosphere conducive to high employee performance; collaborates with the unit manager for the needs and problems of patients and personnel; establishes a system of effective coordination and communication with other departments within the hospital for a more systematic delivery of health care and maximizes the tools of management and facilitate quality patient care.
Job Requirement:
Education:
• Must be a graduate of Bachelor of Science in Nursing and a Registered Nurse.
• Must have at least 12 units leading to a Master’s Degree.
Experience:
• Minimum of 5-year experience in hospital setting.
Skills
• Has an understanding of the best nursing practices.
• Has good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to motivate people under his/her scope.
