Chief Nurse

Chief Nurse assumes responsibility and accountability for the standard of care rendered to all patients reflecting the philosophy of the institution through a systematic organization and coordination of services available within and outside of the institution; performs administrative work in planning, coordinating and directing the nursing services; and provides an atmosphere for total personal and professional development of the staff. She also establishes a system of evaluating standards of care and performance of the staff and determines the operational projections to implement the objectives of Nursing Service Department. In all these vital roles, she maximizes the effective utilization of administrative tools.
