Experienced Front End WordPress Developer

We're a successful Melbourne based online marketing agency and we're looking for an experienced WordPress developer with a good understanding of site speed and great attention to detail.

Your focus will be to develop, maintain and update websites with a focus on fast websites and SEO.

Skills Required:
- Good WordPress development skills, including template modification and customisation (mainly Divi and Avada)
- Experienced in building fast websites or how to make current sites faster
- Knowledge of SEO (more in-depth training can be provided)
- PSD to Full WordPress website
- Responsive websites
- WordPress eCommerce development
- Good attention to detail for testing and checking websites
- English, speaking and writing
- Good time management skills
- Attention to detail
- Willingness to solve problems
- Great work ethic and a positive attitude

Other Skills that would be beneficial:
- Knowledge in Accelerated Mobile Pages is a plus but not required
- Knowledge in Mobile first approach is a big plus
- Knowledge of SEMrush software and Google Analytics
- Server knowledge: SSL, Domain, Hosting, cPanel and other server related issues.

Your daily activities will look like this:
- Assess websites on a daily basis and maintain and improve optimisation strategies
- Ensure correct implementation of SEO across websites
- Landing page development
- Analyse increases and decreases in rank to see what has affected rank, then create and implement strategies to improve it
- Full website development based on Divi template (from time to time)
- Blog posting and optimisation
