Social Media Superstar

We are looking for an awesome Instagram Social Media Manager to join our team during an exciting time as we continue to grow. You will be highly motivated and keen to help curate our Instagram (in home organisation) and increase our brand awareness.

Key responsibilities:
- Manage Instagram account
- Research, create and repurpose content
- Schedule posts and write captions
- Research posts to repost (via Later dot com)
- Search for high quality "viral" posts on other theme pages and influencer accounts
- Research great hashtags to use
- Engage with people in the comments and DM by reach out messages
- Develop the social media strategy, social media campaigns to support the company's marketing efforts on social channels
- Have an artistic eye to be able to plan content for approval in batch content ensuring that all content is aligned with the social and marketing voice
- Stay ahead of industry trends and digital advancements
- Track and report performance of social media marketing programs on an on-going basis to establish best practices, while comparing against industry benchmarks

Essential Skills:
- Proven success in social media management and marketing
- Experience with Instagram posting and growth
- Proficient with Canva and/or Photoshop
- Experience creating Instagram Reel and Instagram stories
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Experience working with GSuite, Slack
- Able to work 4-5hrs a week to start, then more over time

Desirable Skills
- Experience working with specific Instagram tools such as Later and Flick
- Ability to chop up videos and create short IGTV snippets from podcasts with subtitles
- Demonstrate strong knowledge and thorough understanding of the principles of marketing, advertising, promotional and digital content
