Graphic Designer / Illustrator for Story Book covers and interiors

Looking for an experienced illustrator / graphic designer that is willing to help us create wonderful illustrations/ designs for books. Books will be mainly children story books. We will provide the idea of the design based on the story and you'll come up with the original design/illustration for the entire book. All design/illustrations must be consistent.

In order to test your skills so we can see if you are a good match in your first message please create and send us a quick design that follows these criteria's ( it's from a children's story book ):
"There are two siblings. The older brother had fur that was both dark brown and light brown. His ears were pointing up and were very bold and was never afraid to speak his mind. The younger sister's ears were always hanging low and her fur was yellow with a touch of blue. She was a curious little jackalope."
