Experienced Sales Executive for an event tech company

Founded in 2015, Delegate is a technology company powering the events industry. Our free-to-use online marketplace allows anyone planning an event to browse inspirations, compare event vendors, and instantly book services. We service the largest supplier network of over 3,500 event vendors in over 10 cities with our SaaS tool, Delegate PRO.

Today, Delegate has evolved to become an end-to-end turnkey solution for the events industry with the inclusion of our own in-house events management agency Delegate+ and virtual conference software, Delegate PLAY. Our abilities to traverse offline and virtual environments gives us an edge in providing the ultimate in hybrid event experiences.

Responsibilities:
- Prospect and qualify new sales leads
- Schedule meetings and presentations with clients
- Create, plan, and deliver presentations on company products
- Communicate customer and prospect product pain points to appropriate departments
- Meet and/or exceed sales goals
- Coordinate sales effort with team members and other departments
- Prepare and submit sales invoices for orders
- Obtain deposits and balance of payment from clients

Requirements:
- At least 2 years of experience with sales in the tech space
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Must be comfortable prospecting, cold-calling, and convincing in person and via phone
- Must be a self-starter who is organised, conscientious and hungry to learn
- Pays attention to detail, able to manage time and track multiple projects/tasks simultaneously
- Able to work comfortably in a fast-paced environment
