Photo Culling + Post-Processing

We are seeking a skilled post-processor (or perhaps two) who can help us with culling and processing photographs for a project of ours. The individual for this role MUST be proficient with editing for the purposes of print (photographs, albums, books, etc.).

Because it is for a project, the role would be considered a freelance position, but there is scope for more work to be offered from there.

Lightroom and/or Photoshop would be the preferred methods of processing the photographs.

Please note that this is not a position for someone with entry level qualifications. We need experienced artists who will follow our own specifications for culling and processing the photographs for our project.

The right candidate or candidates will be able to quickly discern what makes a great photograph, will be able to assess its potential (in RAW) for fantastic post-processing, and will be able to complete the tasks within an agreed time-frame.

Please note that, as this is for a publication and because the photographs are original works, copyrights will remain with our company and all data protection requirements (including GDPR) must be strictly followed.

Therefore, when applying for this role, please also state how you will access, store, protect, and delete the data for this project, as well as any additional security measures you have in place.

Culling will include selecting and editing approximately 30 photographs out of a selection of approximately 300 photographs per Photo Session. The 30 photographs are to then be edited in Lightroom and/or Photoshop. Our preference is that photographs maintain a natural look and that the artist is able to skillfully select photographs that might be best suited to black and white. We do have a number of LR presets that the individual(s) selected may use for post-processing (so as to match the work that has already been completed on this project).

For the purposes of this job listing, we have set the amount for the role at $200 USD, but we may discuss this figure further with the appropriate candidate. Please feel free to state the pricing that you would generally request for this line of freelance work.
