JOB OVERVIEW

Hi everyone,

I'm David, founder and CEO of a Canadian digital marketing agency. I'm hiring a full time Blog Writer to help build our company's blog. This is a flexible 40 hour/week position, you can choose your hours and days. We've been growing rapidly over the last 3 years and need a content writer to join our team to help create, build, and grow our company's blog.

Basic requirements:
- Must be able to write fluent English.
- Should know basic SEO best practices
- Be able to write informative blogs that truly help readers and avoid fluff.
- Should be able to attend meetings via Zoom or Skype, and have decent internet connection (our interview will be via Skype/Zoom).

Responsibilities
- Review blog ideas with me to select ones to write about each week
- Be able to write ---------- word, detailed and informative blogs that answer questions. Examples includes detailed guides, tutorials, etc.
- Have Skype or Zoom meetings to review your blog posts and generate more ideas. I'm a big believer in good and frequent communication.

You'll be writing on these topics:
- Social media marketing: account setup, growing TikTok followers, etc.
- Local SEO / Off-page SEO: backlink creation, how to grow local SEO, etc.
- Paid Ads/CPC: How to setup CPC ad campaigns, how to use Facebook/Google Ads
- General business topics: how to setup a website, etc.

You don't need to be an expert in all (or any of these topics) but should be willing to learn about these topics through research. At the end of the day, I'd like to bring on someone who's willing to learn, writes well, and is dependable.
