Web Developer

We have a client that needs a web developer to assist the current web developer. They manage 4-5 websites internally that use Shopify, Wordpress, and possibly magento in the future.

You will be assigned tasks and expected to complete them in a timely manner. Eastern working hours are required so please do not apply if you are unable to work 8 hours between 9am-6pm Eastern (break time is factored in).

Responsibilities
· Support, optimize, and enhance our client’s websites spanning a variety of CMSs and platforms including Shopify, Magento, Wordpress & WooCommerce.
· Assist in the development of Shopify and WordPress websites with a focus on: page ranking, page speed, and responsiveness.
· Complete tasks within the required timeframe.
· Assist marketing team in customizing Shopify & Mailchimp or other similar marketing apps templates & integrations
· Troubleshoot and correct issues.
· Handle a workload of multiple products and services changes efficiently.
· Communicate effectively with internal team members and join client calls as needed and must have knowledge of Slack platform.
· Communication with US, advising and assisting them with building, scaling and optimizing their store operations

Requirements
· Proficient in HTML/CSS/Javascript/PHP
· Outstanding communication & project management skills
· Basic-to-advanced understanding of various eCommerce Platforms: Shopify/WooCommerce/Magento
· Experience with WordPress and Shopify custom theme development
· Capable of basic design tasks
· Knowledge of SEO best practices, User Experience, and site flow
· Familiarity with other common web & e-commerce CMSs such as Magento, Joomla, Drupal, and Shopify
· Familiar with DNS & Various web hosting environments
· Data Entry & Manipulation Skills
· 5+ years’ experience required
