Product Owner

Product Owners are responsible for working with clients and other stakeholders to articulate
the vision and mission of a product’s roadmap including feature prioritization and user story
breakdown.
This position serves the needs of our clients throughout the duration of an engagement and is
ultimately responsible for setting the expectations of the client and meeting their demands. The
individual must be able to take initiative and work in a collaborative environment.

Advanced interpersonal skills are a must as you’ll be interfacing with clients and mentoring
teams.

meeting milestones and business objectives
? Owning and managing the product backlog, balancing costs and risks with business

? Driving ideas through the product discovery process with UX and engineering
? Continuously assessing customer needs, technology trends, and major competitors to
validate product priorities and to set strategic direction
? Managing expectations of client stakeholders
You Have
? Bachelor's degree – technical major preferred but not required
? 5+ years of product, project, and/or program management experience in a client-facing
role delivering software products
? Intermediate knowledge of the Scrum framework and how to apply it to maximize the
value delivered with a product, particularly in the scrum master and product owner role
OR managing product backlog.
? Clear, concise communication skills


? Ability to work both independently and collaboratively with cross-functional teams as
well as stakeholders to build a cohesive backlog and product roadmap
? Excellent requirements gathering and documentation skills that clearly communicate
concepts and ideas to stakeholders, engineering and XD teams at all levels
? High-level understanding of software architecture
? Strong sense of responsibility
? Self-starter who takes initiative for improvement
? Strong client management and influencing skills
? Understanding how to work with clients on requirements to set the product strategy,
prioritize features and build consensus
? Passion for excellence at every level

Skills that would be helpful but not required
? Background in modern technology concepts (e.g. microservices, cloud, CI/CD)
? Experience in UI/UX design
? Experience in working with offshore teams
? Client Service or Account Management
? Identify product innovation opportunities aligned with customer/market needs and
business priorities
? Ability to facilitate Design Sprints
