Prestashop/Full Stack Software Developer (Work Remote)

The Prestashop/Full Stack Software Developer will play the primary role in developing our Prestashop-based e-commerce website. This role would also encompass connecting external sources to our website using API and ensuring all requirements and functionalities are fulfilled.

This role requires proficient applied knowledge of PHP, .NET, SQL, and other web-based design/development techniques.

Key Responsibilities

Build the (under construction) PrestaShop-site according to the requirements and mockups provided.
Customize e-commerce site using CMS, HTML, and other technologies to suit.
Build APIs to connect external platforms to PretaShop’s e-commerce ---------- e MySQL/SQL to manage 100,000+ lines of products on the ---------- e AJAX/JSON to create virtual copies of information pulled from the server.
Scrape data from numerous websites for the purposes of extracting, transforming, and reusing the information.
Understand current business processes and build client-based or web-based tools for automation or productivity improvements.


Requirements

About 3-5 years working experience building e-commerce websites in PrestaShop.
A diploma, degree, or background in IT, engineering, or similar is preferred.
Experience working and designing layouts with PrestaShop's Smarty templates.
Solid PHP programming skills for backend development and troubleshooting.
Must know how to efficiently code in ASP.Net, HTML, Javascript, CSS, jQuery
Must know how to effectively use .NET based restful web API.
Good working experience with MySQL database and MySQL queries.
Cpanel/WHM knowledge and configuration if necessary.
Is strongly willing to independently learn new software languages and apply them when necessary.
Ability to work independently on strategic issues with client; capable of managing fairly complex ---------- mercial & business awareness
Attention to detail and ability to own the project and proactively solve problems.
Good communication skills in English.
