Lead Developer on a Revolutionary New Open Source Education Platform

Do you want your work showcased to thousands of communities world wide and have it become an example to others?

We're looking for an experienced developer who can take the lead in building an Open Source educational platform powered by HTML 5 (Javascript+CSS), PHP, SQLite and Android (Java). We also make heavy use of GitHub.

There is also additional work that may draw on Drupal (or Joomla!) and we are considering the use of Unity for some components of delivery.

If successfully in the initial development phase occurring over the next few months, you would then be expected to form the core of the larger team as we expand our development efforts.

Development includes backend infrastructure aspects (deployment and updates) and front end user centric components ranging from highly usable games and stories to leaderboards and dashboards for example. The platform needs to be multi lingual too.

You will be expected to provide leadership, support and advice to others as the community expands - so strong English skills are essential.
