JOB OVERVIEW

Background: We are an SEO agency and we have dozens of clients who want to grow their business by showing up higher on Google rankings. Agency website: ---------- - do some research to impress us before the interview.

Our SEO process uses content marketing and outreach link building as an important part of the overall strategy.

Job description: The Link Builder role involves managing a number of client projects and many outreach prospects to make sure everything gets done on time.

On average, you must be able to achieve 18 - 25 New Live Outreach Links each month.

If you can’t achieve this number by the end of the 2nd month working with us then we will need to dismiss you from this ---------- pensation: We pay invoices on the 1st and 16th of each month. (Payment schedule is negotiable).

Your pay will continue to increase as you improve your skills and get better results.

To be successful at this job you must:
• Have excellent communication skills
• Be able to write creative and unique emails focused on creating value for your recipients
• Be creative and versatile -- think outside the box
• Be able to perform email outreach and manage dozens of emails a day
• Be able to manage small virtual teams
• Be able to communicate with clients via email
• You will be responsible for performing email outreach to a list a prospects and responding when they email you back.
• You must be able to manage dozens of email conversations in a short period of time and still meet the end goals.

We have a database of writers that you can contact to have content written on request (we will help you do that).

It will be your job to read through their content, proofread it, edit it if necessary and submit to the blog for consideration.

Link Builder Activities:

1. Prospecting - I need you to go out and find niche relevant opportunities. This will include:
• Link round-up opportunities
• Guest posting opportunities
• Resource page links
• Broken link building
• Infographic links
• Unlinked mentions
• PR / Press
• Local Bloggers
• +Any Other creative opportunities you come up with

You should be able to spot the difference between a REAL site and a disguised PBN site.

Prospecting Process
• Use search engine operators to find opportunities through Google searches
• Have basic knowledge on using tools and automation to qualify websites more quickly, such as Ahrefs, Moz, etc. -- We need links from sites with more than 30 DR / DA
• Quick to learn and adapt on other tools that will be needed to complete the tasks.
• Find link opportunities -- see examples in part 1
• The opportunities you find should be free 95% of the time, NOT paid (sponsored posts are paid)
• Be able to log and organize data accordingly

2. Organization – Ability to use Google Sheets / Excel, communicate with team members and manage multiple tasks at one time.

3. Outreach - I need you to actually reach out to prospects
• Set up Gmail for outreach
• Build outreach account
• Write new outreach emails
• Contact prospects
• Negotiate with prospects
• Maintain a good relationship to allow for more opportunities with the same prospect in the future

Answer: Number of live links per month
“live links” are counted when someone posts a piece of content or updates a piece of content that links to our client’s website as a result of your outreach ---------- our tracking spreadsheet you’ll mark rows as “Link Live” after the website you pitch

If you feel you are exceptionally good, or you already have a lot of relationships with publishers that you can prove, then we're open to negotiation.
