Telemarketer

I am not just looking for a Virtual Assistant to just fill a job. This position is a stepping stone to work with a growing online marketing company who helps small to midsize business be more successful.

The position will be a part time or full-time position, however in the first two weeks during training the hours will be less. The First week will require 10 hours of work, including one-on-one training time, and many hours of video training to learn and become comfortable with the prospecting platform. The second week will also include one-on-one training time, but will have actual outbound calling, allowing time to get used to the needed skills in presenting the sales script and fully learning the business operation. This will be considered the audition time. At the end of the second week, I will determine if I will add you to my team.

Once fully hired, the third week you should be working either part time 25 hours a week or full 40 hours a week. All possibilities for raises and bonuses will be based on work performance.
Strong American English is the main requirement I am looking at for this position, however a strong work ethic and desire to learn as well as punctuality is a must.

Position overview:
Your role is first and foremost about cold calling businesses, and setting appointments each ---------- tting appointments is easier than most people think, since the first offer is a free offer. The main focus is getting the decision maker on the phone with you to share the free offer.

The prospecting system is set up to allow for calling from an internet connection, so once you are added to the platform, you would only need access to dependable internet and a quality headset (if you do not currently own a quality headset, I can provide.) The platform is very effective, and easy to use once learned.

The current numbers associated with outbound calling is about 12 calls in an hour, with those calls, 6 will be chatting with the gatekeeper, 2 will put you through to the decision maker (owner or manager of the business). Every 5 decision maker conversations should allow for one appointment to be set. That means every 5 – 6 hours of calling should produce 2 appointments.
You will be provided with multiple training videos to help you master the platform, as well as one-on-one time to practice with me. Training time with me will be fun! You will see!

Qualities to be successful:
Skills are something that can be learned and perfected over time, that being said, there are four qualities I am looking for:
Integrity: It is important to me to have a person who will have open communication to let me know when expectations are not met, or a mistake was made. We learn through practice, and as long as we can learn from mistakes, we can be ---------- mitment: I am looking for a person who is willing to be part of my team for many years to come, and not just a short-term gig. I am a boss, who will value your contributions and hard work as well as your opinions on how to grow my business. However, If you are looking for only a few months of work, please do not apply!

A strong work ethic: I expect my employee will do the job and be responsible to follow through with assigned tasks. As this is a telemarketing position, the ability to keep calling to achieve results a must. (The scripts are designed to be friendly and not pushy, so you should not have to worry about being a pushy cold caller.)

A willingness to Learn: I am not looking for perfection, heaven knows that I am far from being perfect, but I do need to have a person who is easy to work with, and willing to learn new aspects of the business. This is a small but this business can grow fast and will add additional VA’s. I want to have a VA who is excited about learning new skills and take on new projects. If you are not excited about improving your skills then this is not the job for you!
