Assistant Estimator

We are a commercial roofing company that has been in business for 25 years. Our main estimator is based in PH, and we are hiring for an assistant for them. We are looking to hire someone with plan reading/architectural/construction background who is willing to learn our process and build estimates.

Duties:
Assist Lead Estimator
Research online plan centers for upcoming construction projects
Read specifications and determine if the job is a good fit
Create bill of materials and cost estimates
Send estimates to customers and correspond with them as necessary
Order materials for jobs
Create Shop Drawings

Depending on experience/expertise, we're willing to pay ---------- USD per month starting out. However, if it's a good fit, I believe in rewarding the people I work with, and will compensate accordingly.
