Web Designer - Full Time

A unique and exciting opportunity exists for an enthusiastic, self-motivated and highly competent Web Designer to join the team at Interactive Focus.

You will play an integral part in the growth and direction of the company, reporting directly to the Managing Director.

In this role, you will be responsible for the integration and customisation of PHP based websites using open source applications such as Drupal and Word Press.

This is a challenging and varied full time position that requires a passionate individual with the following skills:

* Ability to Design Website Templates and Graphics
* Strong working knowledge of HTML, XHTML and CSS (W3C Standards Compliant)
* Ability to convert a web design (PSD File) to a custom website template
* Strong working knowledge of the Drupal Content Management System (CMS) with understanding on how to setup and integrate custom design themes and modules
* Working knowledge of the Word Press CMS with understanding on how to setup and integrate custom design themes and plug-ins.
* Working with Third Party API’s
* Strong Data Integration Skills
* Strong Communication Skills

A solid background and experience (1+ years) in a web design role is essential, although we will consider individuals on other merits.
What this role is

This role will draw on your web design, and integration skills to deliver the foundations of a client website to your team leader.

Extensive training will be provided to the successful candidate in order to ensure you have all the skills required to perform at a high level, although you will already possess a solid understanding in one or more of the following areas:

* Web Design, Integration and Customisation
* Content Management Systems (CMS)
* Working with Third Party API’s
* Website Conversion Optimisation
* SEO / SEM

This role is NOT a web programming role.
