This is a highly visible role that combines content strategy, storytelling, and communications. We’re looking for a world-class writer experienced in many forms of communication from whitepapers to website and someone who can formulate creative strategies to attract our target buyers, differentiate from our competition and position Guidant Financial as an industry thought leader.
Our team is made up of smart, creative, collaborative people who work in a fast-paced, roll-up your-sleeves environment. The successful candidate will have experience in technology or finance companies and have the ability to work effectively across functions. As the primary owner of our brand communications, the Content Creator must possess an obsessive attention to detail and a dogged drive for quality.
What You’ll Be Doing
• Build more efficient, repeatable approaches for content and delivery by channel
• Shape content into different forms for different channels, from blogs and social promotion to infographics and eBooks and e-mails
• Reporting on top content (blogs, downloads, etc.) and championing content to push low cost leads
• Stay fluent and current on fintech business concepts and trends
• Manage website content
• Plan and execute content strategies for product launches and events
• Manage the content pipeline from ideas to placement

• Monitor content metrics to continuously improve content quality, targeting and placement

5+ years writing and content placement
MUST demonstrate writing abilities through examples of their own work
CMS, SEO and website architecture experience highly desired
B2C content marketing role and/or digital media company experience
Knowledge of how to get the most mileage from B2C social channels and trends
