LOOKING FOR A LOGISTICS COORDINATOR

Company information:

American International Industries (AII Beauty), a major Los Angeles-based beauty manufacturer, is looking for a Shipment Coordinator to join our growing team! We have 22 Filipino VAs who have been with us for years and we are still expanding.

A Shipping Coordinator job is very varied and relies heavily upon good organizational and administrative skills. Your daily tasks will include responding to customer service, purchasing, transportation, and vendors' questions or in some cases complaints. Providing routing information and issuing shipping instructions to ensure deliveries arrive on time and to their correct location. You will also be responsible for tracking goods en-route to their destination ensuring any problems that may arise are resolved so as to avoid delays.

DUTIES:

- Maintain open order spreadsheet with Purchasing, Customer Service, and Vendors.
- Regularly publish updates to all parties
- Coordinate providing the correct documentation to all parties
- Coordinate transportation of product as needed with Logistics, Purchasing, Vendors, and Customers
- Ensure all system transactions are completed timely and accurately (PO Receipts, Inventory transfers, and Customer invoicing)

REQUIREMENTS:

- Experience in the same field is PREFERRED
- Must be available to work in PST hours, Monday to Friday
- Good grammar and strong research skills
- Keen attention to detail and highly organized
- Committed and responsible
