Java Developer

Job Position: Java Developer/Architect

Type of Position: Full-time

Location: Pasay City, Metro Manila, Philippines


Knowledge and Skills:

· Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Computer Engineering or Equivalent.

· Minimum 5 years of experience with application development.

· Minimum 2 years of working experience in Java / J2EE, OO Design.

· Minimum 2 years of working experience in SOA, Web services, Rest API, MySql.

· Experience with projects developed in a microservice architecture.

· Experience in management of web applications built with Java.

· Previous Experience with CI/CD and related technologies preferable but not required

· Other “Business Process Management” preferable but not required

· SpringCloud Framework preferable but not required.

· Monitoring: Prometheus, Grafana

· Persistence: Mysql, ElasticSearch

· Messaging tools: RocketMQ / RabbitMQ / Kafka

· Deployments: kubernetes

· CI & CD tools: Jenkins

· Dependency Management: Maven, Gradle

· Code management: Git


Responsibilities:

· Participate in technical planning & requirements gathering phases including Design, code, test, troubleshoot, and document engineering software applications.

· Ensuring that the technical software development process is followed on the project, familiar with industry best practices for software development.

· Demonstrate the ability to adapt and work with team members of various experience level
