JOB OVERVIEW

Yokel Local is a digital marketing agency and Platinum HubSpot Partner Agency founded in 2011 by Stormie Andrews (author of The World’s Best Buyer Persona System) and Darrell Evans, 6-time founder. Both are experts in online marketing, lead generation, and sales for small and medium-sized businesses.

We’re looking for a rockstar Digital Marketing/Executive Assistant.

This position is perfect for a self-starting, detail-oriented, and tech-savvy person who’s passionate about digital marketing, branding, PR. The goal of this position is to work alongside the owners of the company to help them build and grow their personal brands exponentially as business owners/founders and support their busy schedules.

- Must have reliable high-speed internet
- Must be fluent in English (You will speak to people verbally on Stormie and Darrell’s behalf)
- Must be able to work between 8 am-5 pm Pacific Standard Time
- Must be a self-starter and want a position where your skills will shine.
- Must be “figure it out” kind of person (if you get stuck)

Note: This position is 80% internally-facing with some interaction with clients, prospects, or event planners. This is not a sales position.

In a typical week, your primary responsibilities could include:

- Doing email outreach to podcasts, events, and conferences to pitch Stormie or Darrell as guest speakers/presenters
- Scheduling and coordinating meetings/events and updating our project management system (Wrike), calendar (Google), and CRM (HubSpot)
- Meeting with potential show/event producers to discuss and confirm bookings
- Social media management including creating social media images, uploading video content, and scheduling campaigns for their personal brands on social media.
- Proofread article submissions, editing video transcriptions for proper formatting and posting (as necessary)
- Online research/data mining/database building related to podcasts, events, and other marketing and sales lead filtering
- Provide support before and after meetings and client calls, and moderate audience Q&A on Zoom, YouTube, Facebook/IG, Clubhouse live events
- Serve as the dedicated point of contact for the co-founders
- Managing workflows of content production (video and written) to keep things flowing smoothly
- Updating contacts in our CRM
- Some Dropbox/Google Drive organization
- Preparing Powerpoint/Keynote presentations
- Editing/proofreading emails, formatting in the email marketing tool
- Recommend new ideas to help us reach our goals

Required Skills:

- Superb written and English communication skills
- Strong time-management skills and ability to organize and coordinate multiple projects at once for two senior leaders
- Highly proficient in Google Suite (Docs, Sheets, Slides) or similar
- Highly proficient in marketing software such as social media tools and platforms

Preferred Skills:

- 1-3 years experience in digital marketing tools including website content management systems (WordPress or other CMS), email marketing, marketing automation, social media management, graphic design tools, landing page tools
- 1+ years of experience and proficiency in the HubSpot CRM and Marketing suite
- Familiarity with updating website content (not developing)
- Some experience with light video editing
