URGENT - Tech Start-up Looking for a Creative (Copy)Writer+ Social Media Manager

Summary of the role – We are looking for an experienced writer and editor with a diverse background that is proficient in advertising, email marketing, social media copywriting and community management, blog posts and feature stories. The person should have an excellent command of the English language and stellar attention to detail. Should be a quick learner and be able to adapt to new work as the team needs it. Learning will be quick and we want to work together with you to create something exciting together.

We are building a product in the fitness industry and are working to collaborate with hand therapists, social media influencers, sports enthusiasts, and other similar audiences that are looking to improve their grip strength using a smart fitness device. If you are a self-starter and want to work on interesting problems, you are in the right place.

Basic Qualifications Needed

- Email marketing: Ability to work on email marketing tools and create interesting content to send out to email subscribers.

- Worked in a similar fashion and domains for 1-2 years.

- Social Media Engagement: Ability to grow Facebook and Instagram followers. Engage relevant Facebook groups to target the right audience and build engagement.

- Social Media Copywriting: Efficient in writing blog posts that are focused on the product and posting to various audiences.

- Customer Service: Respond to customer emails and complaints as they come in and work with the team to provide the utmost customer support.

- Self-Starter: Should be able to learn quickly and make decisions as needed.

The copywriter should be very "now". Their copy should sound like the Verge and not like an 80s documentary. Someone who can write clear, concise, and with a dash of humor drawing upon current pop-culture references.
