JOB OVERVIEW

Our client with team members based in Netherlands, Europe and in USA provides legal, tax and financial services to Americans living abroad and foreign individuals with financial interests in the United States.  They are looking to hire their next Paralegal/Administrative Assistant with substantial experience Legal Administration and high computer literacy skills.  Prior experience working as Probate - Estate administration, Finance, real estate transactions, tax, banking is ideal. These fields involve detailed information, rules and regulations and attention to formal requirements. Must have committed to client confidentiality, meeting internal and external deadlines, and data security.

Job responsibilities include:

1. Develops cases by interviewing prospective clients; reviewing information with the partner.
2. Helps clients by gathering information and drafting applications and claim forms for pension and annuity benefits; keeping clients informed of case progress.
3. Gathers case evidence and documentation by preparing files; inputting information from records, compiling policy information, client and witness statements, and documentation; logging incoming mail; contacting pension and annuity providers, insurance companies, Estate lawyers and others.
4. Assists in the conclusion of cases by verifying outstanding balances; preparing benefits documentation and reports to clients.
5. Enhances partner's effectiveness by maintaining lists, monitoring case progress; alerting partner of issues requiring her attention; maintaining contact with providers, IRS, and probate counsel; contributing information to the team case review; completing special projects, including developing answers to Frequently Asked Questions from clients;
6. Providing secretarial and administrative support, including managing Customer Database, handling routine client correspondence, scheduling conferences, drafting agendas, recording meeting minutes and creating follow-up tasks.
7. Enhances team effectiveness by preparing or updating checklists. This includes conducting legal research, reviewing the partner’s in-house training videos, extracting instructions, developing checklists and processes to be finalized with input from the team.

SALARY:  P40,000 - P60,000
WORK HOURS:  Flexible with 4hrs in CET (7am-11am  CET or 2pm-6pm Manila)
