Senior Android Developer

A Senior Android Developer who takes pride in good code and loves new technologies. You should feel comfortable working directly with stakeholders, designing solutions, and managing your own work. We are looking for someone to own their project lifecycle, from start to finish.

Essential Job Functions:
Planning and building Android apps from ground up and patching existing Android apps
Interpreting functional requirements of software and translating these requirements into a working application
Appreciation of good, clean code
Supporting end-users
Providing technical expertise on projects

Desired Skills and Experience :

Requirements:

7+ years of experience with Java / Android development
5+ years of experience with databases (designing, programming, tuning)
A solid understanding of object oriented design & programming
Track record building native Android applications
Knowledge of Android marketplace
Basic server administration tasks
Source control (Github preferred)

Preferred Skills:

Android GPS experience a plus
Unit testing
CMS platform experience a plus
iOS application experience a plus
