React / Javascript Front-End Developer

We are seeking a React / Javascript Front-End developer, to work on an existing Comicbook and Manga reading application project based on our existing platform as well as take ownership of the project.

We currently have an Image based content reader with a proprietary DRM protection that is in need of a full time developer. This developer will be helping add new functionality in our app including allowing us to create a guided reading experience and the ability to read text based content with audio clips.

This position will be joining our existing team within the Philippines that are working together on this and other products. We expect this developer to be available to work with the team for at least 4 hours from 10pm - 2am Philippines time. This role is for a full time developer.

Requirements (3-5+ years ideal):
- Software architecture and design methodologies specifically building frontends and user interfaces and client applications
- Deep knowledge of React / JavaScript and its ecosystem, and experience developing large JS applications.
- Excellent knowledge of modern web frameworks and technologies, primarily of React but also a bonus of VueJs, AngularJs, TypeScript, REST, HTML5, CSS, SASS, PHP, MySQL, etc.
- Extensive experience building responsive and mobile applications
- Deep understanding of browser variations and client-side performance tuning
- Optional - Has experience with JavaScript unit testing frameworks such as Jest and/or Jasmine
- Optional - Has created E2E test using Selenium
- Excellent communication, documentation, presentation, debugging and problem solving skills
