SHOPIFY DEVELOPER

We are interested in hiring a Shopify developer full time.
Working hours would be Monday-Friday 10 AM-7 PM, Saturday 10 AM-2 PM GMT +8

JOB SCOPE:
- Creating Shopify store starting from a base/pre-made theme (free or premium theme)
- Customizing/tweaking Shopify themes into the desired UI
- Maintaining and updating Shopify stores
- Maintaining and updating Shopify apps regularly
- Ensuring all updates do not break live stores or render them inaccessible
- Creating custom snippets from scratch (i.e. custom scarcity timer, sticky add-to-cart form)
- Setting up and maintaining 3rd party applications (i.e. Freshdesk, Klaviyo, Gmail among others)

QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS REQUIRED (demonstrative):
- Strong experience in developing great user interfaces using HTML, CSS, JS
- Intermediate/advance skills on Shopify
- Intermediate/advanced knowledge of Liquid templating engine
- Advance knowledge of JavaScript, jQuery (i.e. event bubbling, promises, etc.)
- Knows how to write JavaScript functions and use them as a template to simplify operations
- Advance knowledge of CSS3 and SASS
- Intermediate/advance knowledge of responsive web design (RWD)
- Intermediate knowledge of Git, Bitbucket, and SourceTree
- Intermediate knowledge of Shopify Theme Kit, or Slate v0/v1
- Ability to work under pressure, achieve deadlines, and effectively prioritize multiple, concurrent tasks
- Willingness to learn and master new technologies
- Passion for front-end development and understanding of new technologies and best practices

DESIRABLE SKILLS (nice to have but not required):
- Backend programming skills
- PHP and relative frameworks (i.e. Laravel)
- Front End frameworks (i.e. Vue, React)
- Hosting and server administration (cPanel, Digital Ocean, Heroku, WHM, Namecheap)
